Zig Fly Privacy Policy

Last Updated: August 17, 2026  |  Application: Zig Fly (Android & iOS)

1. Overview

xHavoc Productions ("we", "our", or "us") makes Zig Fly, a mobile arcade game. This policy explains what information the game handles, why, and who it is shared with.

Zig Fly does not require an account. You do not give us your name, email address or any sign-in details to play, and your game progress is stored on your own device. The exceptions are advertising (section 3), purchases (section 6), and the optional launch-notification signup on our website (section 5A) — which is part of the website, not the game.

2. Information Stored on Your Device Only

The following stays on your device and is not transmitted to us:

  • Game progress: level and world reached, high scores, banked continues
  • Upgrades, cosmetics and items bought with in-game currency
  • Settings: audio, music and control preferences
  • Local statistics and mission progress
  • Your current ad-free status and its expiry date
  • The leaderboard name you choose, and your rank on the in-game leaderboard, which is generated on your device and is not a shared online ranking

Deleting or uninstalling the app removes this data. We cannot recover it for you, because we never receive it. See section 7 for restoring purchases.

3. Advertising and the Advertising ID

Unless you hold an active ad-free subscription or the permanent ad-removal purchase, Zig Fly displays advertisements supplied by Google AdMob (the Google Mobile Ads SDK): rewarded videos you choose to watch, interstitials between plays, rewarded interstitials, and banners on menu screens.

To do this the Google Mobile Ads SDK collects and processes your device's ADVERTISING ID (on Android the Google Advertising ID / AAID; on iOS the Identifier for Advertisers / IDFA where permitted). It may also process technical information such as device model, operating system version, general location inferred from IP address, and how you interacted with an ad. This is used to:

  • select and display advertisements, including personalised advertisements where permitted (see the note on iOS below)
  • measure whether advertisements were shown, viewed or completed
  • detect fraud and invalid traffic, and comply with legal obligations

THIS DATA IS SHARED WITH GOOGLE as the provider of the advertising service. Google's handling of it is governed by their own policies: https://policies.google.com/privacy https://support.google.com/admob/answer/6128543

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with any party other than Google for the advertising purposes described above.

On iOS, advertising is non-personalised. Zig Fly does not ask to track you across other companies' apps or websites, and does not request personalised advertising on iOS. Personalised advertising there would require App Tracking Transparency permission, which this version of the game never asks for.

If you hold an active ad-free entitlement, banner ads and the interstitials between plays stop. Rewarded ads remain available — those are the ads you choose to watch in exchange for something, such as continuing after a death or earning extra fly food. They are optional, you decide each time whether to watch one, and removing them would take an option away rather than give you one. So while you are ad-free the advertising SDK still requests an ad when you ask for one, and only then, and the advertising ID is still used for those requests.

4. Your Choices About Advertising

You can limit or reset advertising at any time, without losing game progress:

Android: Settings > Privacy > Ads (or Settings > Google > Ads) "Delete advertising ID" or "Reset advertising ID". Deleting it stops personalised ads; you will still see ads, but non-personalised ones.

iOS: Settings > Privacy & Security > Tracking - turn off "Allow Apps to Request to Track", or decline the prompt. Settings > Privacy & Security > Apple Advertising disables personalised ads system-wide.

If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland you will be asked for consent before personalised ads are shown, and you may change or withdraw that choice from the game's menu.

5. Optional Online Features

Zig Fly currently contacts no xHavoc Productions server. Two features were built to do so, and both are switched off in this version:

  • Downloadable music: the game plays only the audio bundled in the app.
  • Referral codes: the invite-a-friend reward is not offered in the game, and the game does not use the Google Play Install Referrer service.

While they are switched off neither feature transmits anything at all. If either is enabled in a future version this policy will be updated first; the only thing such a server would necessarily receive is your device's IP address as part of the connection — never your name, email address, contacts, photos or precise location.

The game does still make network connections for the features described elsewhere in this policy: to Google for advertising (section 3), and to Google Play or the Apple App Store for purchases and to check whether a subscription is still active (section 6).

5A. The Website: Launch-Notification Signup

This section is about xhavocproductions.com, not about the game. The game never asks for your email address.

If you choose to sign up at xhavocproductions.com/notify to be told when Zig Fly is released, we store exactly two things:

  • the email address you type
  • which store you selected (Google Play, App Store, or either)

We record that you gave consent, and the date. We do NOT store your IP address with your signup.

WHAT WE DO WITH IT. One email, once, on the day Zig Fly is released, containing the store link. That is the only use. We do not send a newsletter, we do not sell or share the list, and we do not pass it to any advertiser or analytics provider.

HOW LONG WE KEEP IT. Until the launch email has been sent, after which the list is deleted. If the game is never released, the list is deleted anyway.

REMOVING YOURSELF. Email info@xhavocproductions.com and we will remove your address, no reason needed. You can ask us to confirm it is gone.

LEGAL BASIS (EEA/UK). Consent, which you give by ticking the box on the form and may withdraw at any time by emailing us.

6. Purchases and Subscriptions

Zig Fly offers optional paid items. Two kinds:

ONE-TIME PURCHASES (consumable or permanent)

  • Fly food packs (small, medium, large) - in-game currency
  • Bonus hearts - extra lives
  • Permanent ad removal - a single purchase, never expires

AUTO-RENEWING AD-FREE SUBSCRIPTIONS

  • 1 month and 12 months

HOW AUTO-RENEWAL WORKS. An ad-free subscription renews AUTOMATICALLY at the end of each period, and your store account is charged again, UNLESS you cancel at least 24 hours before the current period ends. The price and billing period are shown to you in the store's purchase dialog before you confirm. Cancelling stops future renewals; it does not shorten the period you have already paid for.

To cancel or change a subscription: Android: Google Play Store app > your profile > Payments & subscriptions > Subscriptions > Zig Fly > Cancel iOS: Settings > [your name] > Subscriptions > Zig Fly > Cancel

WE NEVER SEE YOUR PAYMENT DETAILS. All payments are processed by Google Play Billing or the Apple App Store, depending on where you installed the game. We do not receive, store or have any access to your card number, security code, bank details or billing address. Refunds are handled under the store's policy, not ours.

WHAT WE DO PROCESS FOR A PURCHASE. To deliver what you bought and to keep your ad-free status accurate, the game handles:

  • the product identifier you purchased (for example, the 12-month ad-free plan)
  • a purchase receipt or purchase token issued by the store
  • the transaction identifier and purchase date
  • the current state of a subscription: active, cancelled, expired, in a billing grace period, or refunded, and the date the current period ends

This information is used ONLY to grant what you paid for, to stop showing ads while your entitlement is active, to restore your purchases, and to prevent fraudulent or duplicated entitlements. It is checked against Google or Apple, because they are the authority on whether a subscription is still active. It is not used for advertising, is not sold, and is not shared with anyone else.

7. Restoring Purchases, and What Happens if You Uninstall

Purchases are tied to the store account you bought them with, not to the device. If you reinstall Zig Fly or move to a new device, signing in to the same Google or Apple account and using "Restore purchases" in the game's store screen recovers your ad-free entitlement and any permanent purchases.

Consumable items already spent in the game (fly food you have used, hearts you have consumed) cannot be restored, because they have been used.

Unspent in-game progress and currency are stored only on your device (section 2) and are lost if you uninstall.

8. What We Do Not Collect

THE GAME does not collect, request or transmit (the website signup in section 5A is separate, and is the only place we ever ask for an email address):

  • your name, email address, phone number or postal address
  • account credentials (there are no Zig Fly accounts)
  • card numbers, security codes, bank details or billing addresses
  • precise or GPS location
  • contacts, photos, files, calendar or SMS
  • microphone or camera input
  • health information

About the name you type. The game does ask you to pick a leaderboard name the first time you play. That is a nickname of your own choosing, it is stored only on your device (section 2), and it is never sent to us or to anyone else. The in-game leaderboard is generated on your device rather than being a shared online ranking, so your name is never shown to, or compared against, other players.

The app requests only these Android permissions: internet access and network state (ads and purchases), vibration (haptic feedback), the billing permission required to offer purchases, and the advertising / ad-services permissions required by the Google Mobile Ads SDK.

9. Children

Zig Fly is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us using the details in section 12 and we will delete it.

Because the game shows advertising that uses an advertising identifier, and offers paid items, parents who wish to restrict either should use the device controls in section 4 and their store's parental controls and purchase-approval settings (Google Play "Require authentication for purchases", or Apple "Ask to Buy" and Screen Time content and privacy restrictions).

10. Your Rights

Depending on where you live you may have rights over your personal information, including rights to access, correct, delete or object to its processing. Because Zig Fly stores game data only on your device, and identifies you only by an advertising identifier you can reset or delete yourself, you can exercise most of these rights directly:

  • to delete game data: uninstall the app
  • to break the link between you and advertising data: reset or delete your advertising ID as described in section 4
  • for purchase records: these are held by Google or Apple under your store account, and you can review them there

If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom (GDPR), or in California (CCPA/CPRA), and wish to make a formal request, contact us using the details in section 12. We do not sell personal information as those laws define the term.

11. Data Retention and Security

We do not operate a database of player accounts, because there are no accounts. Advertising data is retained by Google under Google's own retention policies. Purchase and subscription records are retained by Google or Apple under theirs, and we keep only what is needed to honour an active entitlement. Data held on your device persists until you delete it or uninstall the app.

12. Contact

Questions about this policy, or a privacy request:

General: info@xhavocproductions.com Developer: jaron@xhavocproductions.com xHavoc Productions, British Columbia, Canada

For billing questions, refunds or cancellations, contact Google Play or Apple Support - they process the payment and are the only party able to act on it.

13. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy as the game changes. The "Last Updated" date at the top always reflects the current version. Material changes affecting how your information is used will be reflected here before they take effect.
